Catching Up from Thanksgiving

The menu was created by Jade and it all came out delicious as evident by the pictures of the kids' plates. Two turkey breasts, collard greens, macaroni and cheese, black eyed peas, garlic mashed potatoes, stuffed shells, green bean casserole, sweet potato rounds (a new, delicious recipe that's sure to be a staple), lemon-pineapple cake and cake brownies and ice cream. Jade, Onyx and Big Onyx all agreed that the food was terrific. :o)

Recovering from Halloween...

Halloween was a blast: Jade and buddy Jayla (escorted by their mommies) attended the spooktastic exhibits at the Houston Children's Museum and Scream on the Green at our favorite park, Discovery Green. Needless to say, everyone was whooped after a long day that began with a basketball game and ended with candy intoxication. Onyx Jr. was not available for comment or photo op, as he was "doing the teenage thing" and visiting with football friends after a lecture from Daddy... Smootches!
